My approach

So what are sessions like?

I believe that within you exists all the inner resources needed to weather life’s harder moments. You already possess a host of qualities that can cultivate the deeper joy, peace, and connection you desire to experience in your day-to-day. During our work together, I assist you in calling these innate qualities and inner resources forward. First and foremost, I’m here to help you be kinder to yourself. It’s this tenderness, that when turned inward, can help heal and soften your anxious, depressed, or wounded parts- the ones that often feel in the way. I am a Level One trained Internal Family Systems Therapist and utilize IFS as a primary approach in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, post traumatic stress, and depression. Additional approaches I frequently utilize include, Gestalt,

Person-Centered, and  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Starting therapy for the first time or beginning again with someone new can be daunting. To help lessen the overwhelm and unknowns associated with a first session, I offer a free 15 minute consultation call for us to begin to get to know each other and to support you in determining if you feel it’s a good fit.
